Fashion is always changing, making it practically impossible to keep up with it, be on trend and tailor it to suit your own personal style...which is why I love plaid. Not only is plaid almost always in, but it is so easy to tailor to any look, from preppy to alternative. A plaid skirt can be easily paired with summery crop tops or winter knits, making it super versatile.
If there is one thing you count on, it's that British weather is unpredictable. So far this week, I've been caught out in pouring rain without a coat and ambushed by gorgeous sun while wearing a thick jumper. So this is the perfect time to showcase one of my favourite ways to wear plaid. Bold patterned tights and a lacy crop top are great for summer and combined with a leather jacket, this look is perfect for those transitional days when you aren't quite sure how to dress.
